Comment: First two children of Isaac J. Dawson, Daniel Dawson b. December 28, 1813 and Elizabeth Dawson b. c1815, were born before marriage of Isaac Dawson to Mary Kirby in Q.A. Co Md., home of the Isaac Jump family. Daniel & Elizabeth Dawson's mother was not Mary Kirby Dawson, who died August 1827 in Brown Co, Ohio.

RIPLEY-GEORGETOWN "CASTIGATOR"
August 1827
===============================
COURT of DEATH
DIED - On the night of the 17th instant, in Lewis Township, Mrs. Mary Dawson, wife of Mr. Isaac Dawson, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with amazing patience and resignation, having a prospect of a Blessed Immortality beyond the grave. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.
["Castigator," August, 1827, page 3, column 4]
Comments: I had difficulty finding someone in Columbus, Ohio, to search for Mary Dawson's obituary. Most researchers said: "You won't find an obit for a woman in a pioneer newspaper." The fact that one can be found means Isaac J. & Mary Dawson were prominent members of the Georgetown community and Mary Dawson's death was of wide interest. Since Isaac J. Dawson was styled "Mr." and not "Rev." it can be safely assumed he was not a minister.

"Biographical & Historical Record of Kosciusko County, Ind. Chicago, Ill.: Lewis Pub. Co, 1887, p. 496.
"William Riley, an old settler of Kosciusko Co, was born in Brown Co, Ohio, April 25, 1827, a son of John & Joanna Riley, the father being born in Ohio, the mother a native of Kentucky. When he was nine months old, his father died, after which his mother removed with her family to Madison County, Ind. When he was six years of age (1833), she (mother) returned to Ohio, locating in Fayette Co, remaining there until our subject was fourteen years of age (1841). He then came with Isaac Dawson to Kosciusko Co, Ind., settling on the Tippecanoe River. Mr. (Isaac) Dawson cleared the farm, and there our subject grew to manhood amid the scenes of pioneer life. He assisted in making brick & mortar which was used in the first brick house, a county building, erected at Warsaw. On Feb 3, 1850, he married to Miss Susan Yarnall, who was born in Wayne Co Ohio on Oct 26, 1826, coming with her parents, Samuel & Rachel Jones Yarnall to Kos. Co from Wood Co Ohio, where they had previously resided for two years. On coming to the county, Mr. Yarnall settled in the heavily timbered tract of land 2 1/2 miles w. of Warsaw where the father preempted a claim, cleared & improved his land. Of the six children born ro Mr. & Mrs. William Riley, three only are living: James M. Riley, Rachel E. Riley, and Joseph T. Riley. Mr. William Riley has lived in Kos. Co since his 14th year, with the exception of three months spent in South Bend, Ind., and many were the hardships & privations he experienced in the early days. He settled on his present farm in Harrison Twp in the spring of 1886, where he has 70 a. of well-improved land, and he owns some village property in Burkett. In his political views, Mr. Riley is a Republican. Both he & his wife are members of the United Brethren church in which he served as class leader, steward & trustee."
Note: William Dawson, perhaps William Riley, was plaintiff on the Bridenstine complaint.
